Good trombone VST for Akai EWI 5000

Post by ArciomNesterovich »

Can you give me some advices about good vst with good trombone sound? I only know 8Dio Studio Fire Trombone and
VSCO2 Old Trombone. I think there is a couple vst's in addition. I want to practice with Akai ewi 5000 (it is big experiment). And for the first melody I've chosen anthem of USSR (Russia) https://musescore.com/user/1983921/scores/4901700

Not sure about how to configure midi with the controller you're describing, but I really love Tom Holkenborg's Brass, developed by Orchestral Tools; it's got that huge Hollywood sound that I just love. You can also purchase the ensembles or soloists individually as well, which can save a lot of money if you're just looking for a solo Trombone - and they don't require Kontakt (whereas I'm pretty sure 8Dio stuff does require it.)

I'd recommend checking it out!

You need the real Kontakt program, not the fake "player" version. No idea how this library is free.
