Christmas Concert!

Post by harrisonreed »

Here is the USARJ Band's Holiday Concert. The second piece around the 20 minute mark is a surprise Christmas classic:

Nice! I didn't know that the Rimsky-Korsakov Concerto was Christmas music, but now I think I will program that for every holiday show I play.

The link worked perfectly on my tablet, but on my computer doesn't work, maybe because it is directed to a mobile version?

Dave's link worked great. Harrison's linked to something weird.

Harrison, is this a Joint Forces ensemble? The folks in white coats looked Japanese.

I don't see a band playing. I see a giant grizzly bear. Are you sure about that link?

We added sleigh bells to mvt 3 of the concerto and it becomes Christmas music.

The white jacket folks are the local police band, helping us fill out the numbers. It honestly feels great to play for people again.

Nice!

Those kinds of shows are about as good as life can give you.

Merry Christmas!

Our drummers stole the show with their taiko feature. If you look closely, SSG Walker almost loses his stick and catches it mid performance. Looks rehearsed but it was a complete accident.

It was, like you said, living our best life, in the moment.

Merry Christmas!

I caught that stick flip. It looked so good that I thought the other guys just forgot to do it.
