New Gilkes Album Out! - Cyclic Journey

Post by Arvopart17 »

It’s finally here! “Waiting to Continue” was one of my favorite albums of the pandemic, and I couldn’t wait for his new album “Cyclic Journey” to come out. It’s worth the wait, great tracks and talk about an all star ensemble!

I got the preorder CD in them mail early last Monday and since the only CD player I have is in my car it’s been on repeat while I’ve been driving.

I hope everyone gets a chance to listen and enjoy. Have a great weekend.

The line-up, the arrangements, the compositions... It's unbelievable. I think Marshall is probably the craziest technical monster right now on this instrument out there.

While serving under his father in the Air Force band program, I remember Marshall as a shy little kid in shorts at squadron picnics. His dad brought his Conn 88H into the office because the boy kept meddling with it at home   :D
