Hello!
I have a ten years Eastman case that is holding pretty well for its age but is starting to smell in the inside, how can I clean its interior? I cannot remove any part to put in the washing machine and the worst part is the one that holds the slide, so the slide smells too when is carried inside the case...
Thanks!

Re: Cleaning the interior of a Eastman case
You could try some automotive upholstery cleaner, following the directions but giving it plenty of time to air out and get some sunshine. It may take several applications and a few days sitting out in the sun. Vacuum thoroughly afterwards, and be sure to clean your slide before putting it back in the case.
The best way to keep the case from getting smelly is to keep your horn clean, and completely drain the slide before putting it away.

Re: Cleaning the interior of a Eastman case
I tried to spray and scrub some water with dish soap and cleaning vinegar and it worked pretty well.
So right about keeping the horn clean, I consider myself to be pretty clean with it but always is possible to be cleaner. Thanks!!
