New Getzen/Edwards Dome Rotor Insert?

Does anyone have experience with this new dome insert on an 'old' Custom Reserve or Edwards rotary tenor/bass? It will fit my 4047DS and apparently will improve it's "tonality, core, and response..".
If anything, I think it looks cool.

I tried them at factory had way better articulations on my bass. Worth buying for me.

Hmmm... That sounds interesting as an owner of a late model 1052FD Eterna bass, and I thought the stock inserts looked cool.
But I'm still loving it as it is.

I wonder what the differences are between the old one piece rotor caps, to the two standard two piece caps, to the newest two piece dome caps? Are the dome caps heavier than the insert for the newer standard ones?

From their website:
Please note that the new dome insert is slightly thicker than the original Custom Reserve rotor insert. This additional thickness causes a small gap of less than 2mm between the bottom of the rotor ring and the rotor body when the ring is fully tightened.

Will this fit older Eterna rotors? The ones that like like Bach rotor caps?

Not without getting rings as well, it's only the insert.

Re: New Getzen/Edwards Dome Rotor Insert?
First impressions: well made, looks great, very slight improvements in my tone & core but don't expect miracles IMO. Interestingly, I think it has helped my (extreme) upper register slotting the most.
As is the case with the old/original cap insert, there is some clearance between the center cavity of the cap and the top of the rotary valve so it's easy to install the cap off-center. I remember when I first bought the 4047 I had a terrible time trying to track down a vibration/buzz between Ab and G and it turned out to be that the cap insert wasn't centered under the threaded part of the cap ring.
Here are the comparison photos taken today (old cap on the left):

Looks great! I have a 1052, and I wonder if you would need these on both valves to notice a difference? Perhaps the 1st valve would suffice? I've seen people do that with the Greenhoe lexan valve caps.
