The above is a trumpet mute probably from the 50s...I just wonder if there is a trombone version...

Is that red thing in the center a membrane? If so, you could look for the Humes and Berg Buzz-Wow. Not quite the same but it will add a kazoo like buzz to your sound.

Yes, it is small buzzing membrane.

I would probably just get from DJ his buzz mute. The sound was quite what I would like in a buzz mute

Yes, it is small buzzing membrane.

I would probably just get from DJ his buzz mute. The sound was quite what I would like in a buzz mute
