Hello from Alabama
I'm posting this to try to get my three posts in. My name's Harrison, and I've started playing Trombone and Euphonium after a 15-or-so year hiatus. I've been playing a little over a year and a half now with my local community band (Euphonium) and orchestra (Trombone).

Re: Hello from Alabama
I started playing Euphonium at age 12 and started learning Trombone at 15. I continued to play Trombone at the University of Tennessee through my Junior year, then got "too busy" (Read: burned out).

Re: Hello from Alabama
My current instruments are a mid-2000s Conn 88HCL that's kinda ugly due to the bell being crumpled (and repaired) when it was in a gig bag and I was in a car wreck and extensive lacquer wear, but it plays beautifully, and I've been saving to have it fully restored. I also have an old Reynolds Contempora Euphonium that I got for $150 in college that again is ugly but plays well, and I recently got a Yamaha Neo compensating Euphonium that's like new.
