Hilarious trombone article

Stumbled on this accidentally. In their defense, they did get some things right, but good lord...

Neither person is playing the trombone the way God intended - that is, left-handed.

Obviously that's parody.

This "Normans" appears to be a serious website. Where are you getting that it's parody?

If you get the Slide Doctor's ads in your Facebook feed, those can be pretty funny too. I'm pretty sure he just pays some ad agency to do them and that agency just swipes pictures of trombones from all over the internet. Lots of left-handed and other various wierd grips in those ads.

It looks like it was written by an AI, TBH.

The robot was asked to write an article about trombones and it started it's Google search with "beep boop, what is trombone?"

Normans are a large and relatively well regarded music shop in the north of the UK. They have technicians and do their own repairs, they have contracts with education authorities. They sell professional instruments as well as Chinese. I have no connection with them, have never bought anything from them but I know many who have, anyone could be right what they say about them for all I know. I would think they could be regarded in the UK as occupying a slot that Hickeys or Dillons might in the US. Harrison is right it looks like it was written by AI... Doug

AI probably wouldn't spell it "Dependant" and have lots of grammatical mistakes, though. Unless it's a really bad AI...

Appears to have been written by Jonty Hines. Not parody, just not well written.

Imagine Hickeys posting that on their site... I don't think the comparison of the two companies is fair lol.
