Anyone delve into these?
I only just heard of them. Available in IMSLP.

Bassoon music will provide a lot of challenges for a trombone player. The instrument's characteristics are something you won't find playing trombone.
That said, there's nothing wrong with playing the music. If it was really useful, I'm sure by now we'd all be playing it. Still, for the price it's worth a try.

I've spent time with them. Great for developing a wide tonal range, as they utilize both the low register to pedal Bb and the high register to at least C.

Re: Weissenborn bassoon studies?
As an ex-bassoon player, my trombonist friend definitely enjoyed using my Weissenborn book! We also played the Blazhevich trombone duets together (with myself on bassoon at the time).
Off the top of my memory, we found the music quite exchangeable between instruments but the range of the bassoon music tended to be broader. It was of course more technically difficult for my friend to play the same music on the trombone, compared to myself on bassoon. I also remember it being good tenor clef practice for them.
