Yes, but you can't just buy them directly from Lausmann (Faxx).

Hopefully some of our members in Germany can help.

I'm pretty sure the GEWA and Arnolds & Sons branded versions available from Thomann are exactly the same thing, made by Lausmann

Yes, Thomann (and other places) is selling Gewa and Arnold and Sons. I would also expect they are made by LAusmann, but don't know for sure. what I know is that they are surprisingly good quality for the money.

I don't know any place that sells Faxx in Germany.

I bought a Faxx mpc the other day. The package says:

Product of AWM LLC
Elkhart Indiana IN USA

AWM looks like a distributor of various musical products, including Faxx mpcs. In its online catalogue it says:

Faxx mouthpieces are of the highest standard in quality and reliability and rival the famous maker brands. Precision made in Germany, these double-silver plated mouthpieces are manufactured on high quality CNC machinery to ensure consistency.

Anybody got any thoughts on the Faxx 1 and 1/2G?

I have one. I'm not sure if its just wrong for me, but it feels tiny. My tenor mouthpiece feels like it has more volume in it. Otherwise, it plays well.

I am going to get a Faxx 1 1/2G for a spare and to see if it differs from my 2001 Bach 1 1/2G. I will report back. It will be a few weeks possibly. The 1 1/2G is the only mouthpiece that i have ever use with a Duo-Gravis. I get good results with it. Someone handed me a Schilke 60 one time at a rehearsal. It was darker and felt like it took more air. I could make the Schilke 60 work but I didn’t run out and buy one.

I've had a few FAXX mouthpieces; in general, the workmanship is good and the plating is durable. I've spent some time on a FAXX 1½G (plugged into an Olds dependent double) was pretty happy with it. If I hadn't been able to find an original Olds "G", I'd probably still be using the FAXX.

Not too surprising. The Schilke 60 is a much larger mouthpiece than a Bach (or Faxx) 1½G.
Per specs (nominal dimensions):
Bach 1½G: Cup I.D. = 27.0mm; Throat = 7.04mm; Deep Cup
Schilke 58: Cup I.D. = ~27.2 - 27.6mm; Throat = 7.67mm: Deep Cup
Schilke 59: Cup I.D. = ~28.5mm; Throat = 7.67mm: Deeper Cup
Schilke 60: Cup I.D. = ~29.0mm; Throat = 7.67mm: Very Deep Cup

I have a Faxx 6 1/2 AL small shank. It's a good mouthpiece, but it's smaller than my Bach corp. 6 1/2 AL. And the rim is flatter than the Bach. It's more like my Yamaha 48. And it doesn't sound like a Bach. It sounds more like a Yamaha (IMHO).
