Main tuning slide - conn connstellation 48H
Hi! I just got a conn connstellation 48H for a few money, but I need to repair or replace the main tuning slide (it looks very bad). Any suggestion? Where can i find a conn 48H tuning slide?

Conn 48H trombones are long out of production, so buying a new one is impossible.
What is wrong with he current tuning slide? Would it be repairable as is (without new parts)?
Crooks are available from Allied Supply, but you have to be a registered tech to buy one. A qualified tech can rebuild the tuning slide from the new crook plus your old hardware.
Good luck.

Should be interchangeable with a 6h tuning slide? These are potentially more available.

Yes, the crook should be the same as a 6H. Those are available from Allied.

Believe it or not, a King 2B tuning slide will also work! The bend of the crook will be round rather than semi-squared, but everything else is the same.
