Edwards Medium Bore?

Post by themoorekid »

Hi All,

I know the Edwards medium bore horns are no longer made but was curious what the options were and if you could buy them with a valve?

Anyone custom ordered one recently?

Would the current CR rotor fit if I can track down a 8inch bell and .525 slide?

Thanks in advance!

The T327 (the Edwards medium bore) is identical to the T350 (their large bore) in every respect except the slide itself, the tubing on the slides, the leadpipe, and crook. So any bells, valves, slides, etc are compatible between the T327 and T350.

The only caveat I am aware is that really old Edward’s bells have a tab to connect valve sections, from before they had edge bracing. But they sell a kit if you manage to find yourself in possession of one of these.

Fwiw, Shires also handles this the same way. Rath handles it very similarly as well.
