Has anyone played the Rath R900? Any opinions?

Those that I've tried have been very good, almost an R9.

Keep your eye out for a used R9. They are worth it.

I think we've discussed this via E-mail already, but the R900 I played was excellent. Not an R9, but a very good instrument in its own right.

How close is it to *your R9, if you don’t mind me asking? My understanding is that the R900 is a combination of the most common components (or maybe the most common combination that works, I forget!). Is the R9 you play close enough to that, or is the R900 just a different combination that works well for you?
