24-bar blues tunes

Post by tbdana »

I'm looking for up tempo (not blazing) 24-bar blues tunes to play in F, Bb, or C blues. Preferably F. My mind is a blank (as usual). What are some tunes that meet those criteria?

This is a great one!
"Benson's Rider"

Monk's Misterioso is another one...usually done medium, although I'm sure it's been done at every tempo.

Some people have the "I ain't got no money" blues,
Some people got the "I ain't got no woman" blues,
An' some people got the "I ain't got no money I ain't got no woman" blues,
an' that's the double blues.

Isn't "Mustang Sally" a 24 bar blues form?

I guess if a woman would sing it, it could be "Mustang Johnny" :idk:

I really like “Marsh Blues” by Christine Jensen
The original is pretty quick, but it works slower really well too.
