Bass Trombone Grip options

Post by ThatBassBoneGuy »

Hello,
Ive been struggling with tendonitis for some time now and I'm looking for new grip options/opinions when it comes to the many types out there. As of now I'm using the Neo tech "Ultra-Grip" but I find it to be restricting and sometimes more straining on my wrist. Ive seen and heard about "Get a Grip" but I'm not sure how it will feel seeing that I have quite big hands. Does anyone have an input or what they use to help?

There have been so many previous discussions here that it's hard to keep track. Unfortunately I don't think there is a single comprehensive list of options. It's clear that different people have very different preferences, but beyond that I don't think there is much consensus. An option that works well for one person may not work well for someone else.
