Hey friends,
Wondering if anyone has figured out how to remove all the wires from silent Brass? It's a pretty decent lil system but all the wires can get to be quite a pain.

I thought about using a 3.5mm aux jack bluetooth transmitter with some wireless earphones. I haven’t gotten around to trying it. You’d want a decent transmitter that doesn’t introduce a delay, but aside from that I imagine it should work fine.

I tried this years ago and gave up: far too much delay.

I've found that plugging a little bluetooth receiver (about $25 USD) into the aux-in port works well to play along with music from a laptop, iPad, or cell phone. As previously said, anything else wireless introduces an unacceptable delay into it. Doing this introduces a delay into the aux-in signal, but it doesn't matter because it is the first device in the chain and you're responding to the delayed signal (unless you're trying to follow a conductor on the youtube video)

So... kinda. I have a setup where I have the thing you'd normally strap to your belt strapped to a velcro thing I added to a counterweight. Velcroed to that is a Bluetooth transmitter, which I found to be fine. I seldom bother with the electronics though. I find that just the practice mute is enough to keep me in shape for situations when I'd want to use it.
