So I'm an idiot and dropped my mouthpiece.... sigh... thankfully the shank and cup are fine! But I dropped the mouthpiece pretty much rim first and now it has a couple of scratches in it. Due to allergy reasons I'd like to get them out if possible.
How hard is lexan? Is it anything as tough as like an acrylic watch crystal? Or is it just something where I should use a very mild abrasive like toothpaste?
I will buy a new rim from Doug pretty soon but I'd like to get this one in good shape to make it my backup.
Any way to get out scratches in Lexan rim?

Lexan is kind of hard to polish because it's... kind of soft... not hard. Toothpaste won't do anything. Best thing would be to send it to me and I'll do it.
