Hey all,
In my new district band music, it calls for a growl mute. I looked around but couldn't find any online. Is there something I'm missing? Is it called by something else?
Thanks in advance!

Growl mute

Remove stick, add growling.
I suspect a pixie mute in there along with some half-open plunger work is what is intended, in which case you can construct one out of certain trumpet straight mutes or buy the H&B HB163. The pixie mute helps with growling but the growl ultimately comes from the player. So it's optional, imo.
