Shires Rotary Valve Modifications

Just wondering if anyone has either modified an existing rotary valve section from another manufacturer to fit a Shires tenor, or if you have modified a Shires valve section by installing a non-Shires rotary valve, and what the results have been..??

M@W have built a number of valve sections for Shires owners. The results have been great.
