Max Schlossberg - Daily Drills and Technical Studies

Anybody use this? I pulled my old copy (I purchased it in the late 70s) off the shelf and worked through it a bit. Some very nice exercises.

I see a date marked in pencil in my 4th year teacher’s printing. Just a couple of exercises, one date. I wonder what happened?.

Can anyone tell me more about this book and Mr. Schlossberg?
