Wicker/Wood Mutes

Post by BassBoneFL »

Does anyone still make wood wicker mutes? Amrein/AMR used to make them then after they stopped Adams did for a while. Seems as if nobody does anymore.

Does anyone know who makes them now or who has a stash they'd be willing to sell? -- I'm NOT talking about solid wood mutes like Facet, etc..... these are very light wooden wicker like a basket. They play GREAT.

Denis Wick lists wooden straight mutes on their website: https://www.deniswick.com/product/woode ... -trombone/

I’m guessing that they really aren’t what you’re looking for. I’ve never heard of, heard, or seen a wicker mute...
