I aquired a second King 3B-F and I am trying to figure out best route to sell. 3B-F sn 526XXX, so about 1975 vintage. Bell laquer is pretty good, nickel outer slides not so much. Minor dents, needs new rotor stops. Slide stockings have no plating loss. Original coffin case, but as the horn has been in a closet for 20+ years it is very musty. Slide works well, tuning slides all move nicely. I'm thinking $700 plus shipping as is. Is that too high?
A good bath or chemical clean and new rotor stops would make it a nice player.
I'm not a complete idiot, some parts are still missing!
