Brass Ark Sawday Bach 42
Does anybody own one of these or has played one? Any thoughts on these instruments?

I've played one and I know a great player on one currently. They are very, very good.

Everyone I've heard who plays one sounds great. I'm just a little scared to blindly order one without trying it first. The quality seems top notch.

I hear you on that point. I'd want to supply them with a good horn first, I think.

I haven't personally played one, but if Don made them, the work is top notch ( He taught me a great deal of what I know about building horns, and how sound works in general). He makes some really fantastic intruments, so it wouldn't be surprising to hear these are in that category.

I’ve played a pair and they were both great, the most consistent 42s I’ve tried.
Their sound was also a very good example of the expected “standard” 42.
Shoot Noah an email, if he has one or two on the shelf he may go for a trial period.
