Anyone know of any commercially available gig bags that would fit a dependent bass with Thayers.  I don't want Bonna or anything like that.  Just a cordura gig bag.  It needs to be good too.  None of the cheap stuff.  On par with Cronkhite would good.

I used to have a dependent edwards with thayers. Mine didn't fit in a bonna or many other bags. Yhe best I found for it was a fusion gig bag. I would check those out.

Have you considered Altieri gig bags?

That is a great idea as well actually, I used to have an altieri for mine years ago. Forgot about that.

I don't really care for the Alteri design.

A dependent Thayer should fit fine in a Reunion Blues (Chinese copy) bag or even in a Gard.  How big is your bell?  A pie-plate 10.5" bell could be a problem.

Sorry you don't like Altieri -- they've worked great for me except for a few broken zippers.
