Hi all,
Just returned from two days in Redlands. Just GREAT. Superb playing (Ian, Mick, James Markey, Megumi, et al). Fine student playing. Great old friends. Also, great horns to play. Just a super 2 days at one of my alma maters. Wish I could have stayed longer, but thankfully I had work.

All of the trombonists in the Redlands festival were great. Alex Iles was everywhere and what
a great talent and personality. He is one of the most complete and exceptional trombonists
in the world, in my opinion. Just a marvelous musician and human being!
