Lacquer Stripping

I am just getting into this for some experimental info and fun. So far I have just used Citristrip with good results on some older Reynolds trombones. My main question is what would you folks recommend to use as a good disposable scraping tool to scrape off the applied Citristrip and old lacquer? My secondary question regards King trombones. It seems they are harder to get the lacquer off of. Most of the references I have found relate to post HN White Kings. Would my 1963 King symphony give me the same problems? As always, I appreciate the wisdom and suggestions!!
