Hi, all-

So, I was just looking at an old version of Greg Black's website on "The Wayback Machine" because I wanted the official specs of the old GB Alessi Series mouthpieces. I was curious because I have had a "3" since 2004, and just picked up a "1.25" from someone on Facebook. Here's where I found it:

I was intrigued to read, In the paragraph on the "new AL series," this quote from Alessi:

You will be able to hear this quality on my upcoming cd release where I front my own big band.

To which CD is he referring here?

It does have a few tracks with big band; that’s a possibility. It was also released in 2007, which was during his Greg Black era. I’ll have to see how far back the “AL” cups go on the GB site (I think the version I linked to was from 2009…)
