Does a vintage Reynolds small shank mouthpiece have a smaller than Bach shank like a vintage Olds mouthpiece?

No. I believe they have a (non-standard) slightly LARGER shank!

The Reynolds shank is unique(?) Regular small shank is too small, the large shank is too big. Even the European medium euphonium shank is a little large. Doug Elliot can make a special shank for Reynolds trombones. I have one.

Or you can get an original Reynolds mouthpiece. Occasionally (infrequently) available. But they work just fine.

I'd bet that Yamaha 321 Euphonium mouthpieces would be good. Wick makes (at least) a 4AY.

For what it's worth, I had a very nice Reynolds Contempora (now sold), and tried a variety of Reynolds mouthpieces with the oversized Reynolds shank. The mouthpieces were all rather small (suitable for the small-medium bore trombones), and had rather V-shaped cups. The shanks, of course, perfectly mated with the receiver.

Did you measure the shank taper on those?
It's been a while since I made one and I think I've made a couple of slightly different sizes, for different horns. They may not all be identical.
