Im looking to buy a trombone and have found a used i think might be good fit. Problem is that the current owner isnt sure on the model, and its a bit far out (couple hours drive) for something im not sure what is. Its a small bore Antoine Courtois Paris model (says so on the bell), with yellow brass. It has the small black AC-logo on its counter weight, and the the two rods connecting the halves on the slide (unsure what their proper name is, but its where you holde the trombone) are not curved like some of AC’s other models. Does anyone know what model this could be or is the description to vague?
Best regards

My Courtois trombones have the model number on the side of the bell.

Re: Help to identify an Antoine Courtois trombone
All Courtois trombones have Antoine Courtois Paris stamped on the "front" of the bell. This merely references the fact that Courtois used to be a French company with its headquarters located in Paris. (It has nothing to do with the Paris versions of the recent Creation models.)
As Wayne88ny pointed out, for the model ID you need to look on the side of the bell.
The "Paris" part of the AC logo on the front has remained, even though manufacture of older trombones from 1956 onwards was located in Amboise, France and then transfered to Markneukirchen in Germany, after the aquisition of the Buffet Crampon Group (which owned Courtois) by B&S GmbH in 2013.
