Hey I'm looking for some good duets for two tenor trombones. I am a college-level student and want something challenging but not too out of reach.

Tommy Pederson's books are brill. Easy enough to bash through, plenty to improve and work at.

Do these get a bit high for bass? What's the range?

The Blazhevitch duets are fun and challenging, but not too difficult.

Unaccompanied or with accompaniment?

If you are looking for something good that is not too challenging, then I can recommend you a grade 3 or 3.5. I am sure if you did a lot of research then you can find hundreds of different arrangements with and without accompaniment.
