Tom Huddleston? Not Spiderman

We have an LA Olds Studio trombone in the shop for a cleaning and some other work.
The name engraved on the bell is Tom Huddleston (Hoddleston?) - I was wondering if anyone here is familiar with the name and can provide some information on who they were and what sort of playing they did?
