D J Kennedy

Apparently DJ Kennedy has not made the transition from the Trombone Forum to TromboneChat.
I miss his (sometimes pithy, usually interesting) comments, and his knowledge of many things trombone.
I have a friend who would like to contact DJ about a trombone purchase. All I know is that he lives in Chester, Illinois. Does anyone know how to reach him?

Any one got info?

No phone number, though.
Hope it's helpful.

Try his email at
[email protected] Facebook messenger is probably quicker.
I recently bought an Elkhart 88h from him and had it shipped to Australia. Great to deal with as usual!

I had my first experience on May this year. Very efficient (got my horn in 6 days), great horn (King 3B #1963, vintage for a first horn but I prefered to be cautious) and I do not regret. I still think about a second one, satin soulard finish probably, 3B for sure!!!!!!!!!!!! All my deal through Facebook: simple, efficient, convenient, ...

I emailed and called a few times.
Seems he is of the new breed that does not return calls.

Happy to hear DJ is still around.
Got 3 horns from him over the years, and every witty description about the horn was dead on.
I might grab a 2B from him soon

What's the best way to contact DJ? I have lost my e-mail and phone contact list.
Thanks!

Called D J today, and had a pleasant, interesting conversation.
Surprised to learn that he has not yet participated in TromboneChat. [It's been almost a year, D J!] I encouraged him to sign up - others who know him should do the same. I miss his "pithy" commentary!

I hadn't seen him on FB for some time and then fairly recently saw a couple of posts, so one should be able to find him there. Happy to see he's still chugging along.

It was a great pleasure to talk with DJ. He's knowledgeable, articulate, and extremely helpful about trombone issues. I wish he'd get active on
TromboneChat so we could all enjoy his comments.

He has. He is a registered member and posted a few times, but only between April and June last year, it seems:
