"The Latin Tinge" and Urbie Green

I've just been reading "The Latin Tinge" by John Storm Roberts- lots of interesting stuff about the impact of Latin American music on the United States.
One jazz example he gives is "Captain Marvel" (Chick Corea song) from Urbie Green's album "Señor Blues" played as a fast samba:

So I'd recommend the book, but this track is special.
