Trombonist Ross Hurley. RIP

Did anyone here know Ross Hurley? He was a trombonist living in New Zealand. He passed away not too long ago. I believe that he was a member, but I don't remember his user name.
We became friends in Munich. He was one of the first guys I met over there. We became close friends.
Sad to hear of his passing. I believe it was Pancreatic cancer.
